French kiss (1995)
This is one of my real favourite films of Jeans.
Jean plays a policeman,Jean-Paul in this.Kevin Kline is theif who has been to Canada to steal a very expensive diamond necklace and he meets up with Meg Ryan on an aeroplane to France. She is a Canadian girl who has always been afraid of flying. But her canadian fiancé goes off on a business trip and then meets up with a French girl and falls in love with her,so Meg plucks up all of her courage to go and find him.
Meg doesn't want Kevin to sit next to her on the plane,he is loud,he is French, and he smells of cigarettes. But he's sat next to her and they engage in a conversation,it's mostly Kevin taking the piss out of Meg and what he thinks her love life is like.He manages to get her into the air with his arrogant manner making her very angry,so she doesn't realise that they have taken off.

Jean isn't in this very much, but he is a true gentleman as a policeman. There is some really good funny bits, some pretty bits and a really nice story through and through.Although,I must say,I do cringe at Megs performance at being angry in Bobs flat when she realises he's gotten rid of her Vitamins.

Les truffes (1995)
Jean Reno plays Patrick,a third rate boxer. He meets up with Nathaniel,a small time, shabby and pathetic con man in a bar.The things they have in common is,they are both used to taking the blows and both want to get away from Northern France.Patrick decides to go and find his cousin at Narbonne beach somewhere. So the two of them are making their way gradually through France.A kind of road movie I guess?.

Léon/The Professional (1994)
Leon/The Professional is the film that brought Jean Reno his most famous film role. Leon is a lost soul,he kills for money,he is an assassin,he keeps himself to himself, that is until he meets Mathilda. The little girl of 12 years old lives down the hall from him in an apartment, she sometimes picks up groceries for him.Her father sells drugs for the local drug dealer, who is also a top Policeman, her step mother and sister haven't time for her,the only one she loves is her 4 year old brother. But one day, after a drug deal has gone down badly, her whole family get killed whilst she is out buying groceries, she ends up banging on Leons door,he lets her in and they kind of look after each other and have a bond between them. All they have is each other in this world. Mathilda makes Leon want to settle down and have a proper home and her as his family,Mathilda has other ideas though, she wants the people that killed her little brother dead,Leons so called friend who gets him his 'jobs' wants him to carry on.Mathilda puts a very dangerous situation in action...Is there any way out?.....

I can't help but look at Mathilda as a user,if it wasn't for her,Leon would still be around......

Les visiteurs (1993)
This film is hilarious, even if you don't bother to read the sub-titles?,you will still not be disappointed.Although,Jeans hairstyle in this leaves a lot to be desired. Jean and his manservant (Christian Clavier)are mistakenly sent forwards in time by a wizard trying to make them go back in time by a few hours to change events,he's accidentally killed his soon to be father in law. There are laughs galore as Jean and his manservant smash hell out of a Citroen Dolly, fearing it is the Devils chariot, they are always geting into scrapes and mishaps, and Jean just happens to find his great, great, great, great etc ancestor, who is the spitting image of his true love. Hey,this has got to be good,I made my sister sit and watch it at 5 am one Saturday morning! hahaha.
